“Sikh the Truth” will be an online publication to educate and raise the true awareness of the Sikh faith, its values and beliefs. This publication has been designed to educate Sikhs and non-Sikhs alike, about the Universal Truth and the Divine Teachings of the One Primal Beloved Lord, revealed through the founder of the Sikh faith, Guru Nanak
It aims to explain the basic beliefs, general principles and practices of the Sikh faith. It also aims to promote Guru Nanak’s Divine Universal Message of spirituality, love, peace and harmony, but above all, the practice of the Divine Truth.
There are many religious organisations and missionary groups, which purposely undermine and provide false interpretations of the Sikh faith. Such groups purposely use this as a clever tactic to snare individuals to forcefully convert to another religion or create divisions within the faith and its people through lies and deceit.
The sad thing today is that many people find it “embarrassing” or “un-cool” to learn about their faith. There is nothing embarrassing or un-cool about learning and understanding the basics of your faith and beliefs. It is having faith and having beliefs that shape you as a person, and we have every right to be proud of the teachings that Guru Nanak blessed the entire humanity with.
We hope this publication will expand your understanding of the Sikh faith and that you embark on this spiritual journey through the guidance and teachings of Guru Nanak.
