An organised day trip to Northern France & Belgium taking you on a journey highlighting the major contribution Sikh soldiers made during WW1. * Experienced guides offer a unique insight into the Indian Army's outstanding contribution to the battles of World War 1 * Visit the preserved trenches at Bayernwald and learn how Sikh forces arrived in Europe unprepared for winter combat * Visit the battlefields around Neuve Chapelle where Sikh Regiments were involved in heavy fighting * After visiting the spectacular Indian Memorial, head to the town of Ypres to sample some of Belgium's famous chocolates and wonder the streets around the fabulous main square * The tour culminates at the Menin Gate, with the ‘Last Post' ceremony, commemorating those who sacrificed their lives in the defence of others Departures: Birmingham 4:00am, Royal Leamington Spa 4:45am, Maidstone Services M20/J8 7:15am Cost: £85 per person.
